Child & Family Social Worker – Tewkesbury 42ph Temporary

Caritas Recruitment are seeking experienced Child & Family Social Workers to join Gloucestershire County Council in Tewkesbury. This temporary role offers the opportunity to manage a mixed caseload of CIN, CP, and CIC, including some court work, providing timely, evidence–based interventions to support children and families.

Key responsibilities:

Hold and manage a caseload of around 18 children, ensuring safeguarding and effective support.

Undertake statutory visits, assessments, care planning, and court reports as required.

Deliver interventions with consideration of timeliness, impact, and positive outcomes.

Work in a flexible environment with 3 office days per week, supported by a laptop and smartphone.

Collaborate with colleagues and multi–agency partners to ensure coordinated support for families.

Pay: 42 per hour
