The Yamaha designed M3 pickups are expertly designed to capture every frequency of this bass’s range. Coming with oversized polepieces and ceramic magnets every note is articulated with unrelenting power and clear definition. This is partnered with an excellent Performance EQ to really allow you to have full control of your sound. A five-position switch frees you to select five different EQ curves, giving access to essential sounds, while a two-band EQ frees you to tune both the high end and low end to your preference.

Top-quality construction
This bass is built to the same high-quality you expect of every Yamaha product. A solid mahogany body earths the tone with a warm characteristic, while also delivering full coverage over every frequency with scintillating highs, a tight midrange, and grounded lows. This craftmanship is also present in the choice of hardware. A combination of die-cast tuners and a die cast bridge guarantees impeccable tuning stability.
