Description
Aria Diamond series (DM380)
Copy of a Mosrite guitar.
This is a used guitar which I am selling because I am a lover of Mosrite clones and I have 2 others.
The first thing I wish to make clear about this guitar is that the tremolo bridge kept moving. Being a punk rock guitarist, playing Ramones style music, I had no intention of using the tremolo. I had the bridge locked and it is nice and stable. I have also lost the whammy bar. If you are looking for a guitar with a tremolo bridge and whammy bar, you would be wise to upgrade this particular bridge. If you are simply looking for a guitar that stays in tune with a nice and stable bridge then this is fine as it is.
The guitar sounds phenomenal with the 2 x P-90s being controlled by their respective volume pots which I changed to be more in keeping with a Mosrite. The tuners have been upgraded to a set of Kluson style machine heads and I’ve fitted a new set of strings.
The guitar is used and has signs of wear which I personally like. There is a large ding on the back (see photo). My intention was to do a partial ‘road worn’ job on this guitar but I never got round to it. If the guitar doesn’t sell then I may carry out this work before relisting.
Overall, the surf green look is very cool and eye catching.
I will ship the guitar in a decent carry case to ensure it is nicely protected in transit. Otherwise, the buyer is welcome to collect this guitar in person.
Should you want me to post this to you then I will send it via a tracked delivery service on receipt of payment via the ‘friends and family’ feature on PayPal. I will be happy to cover the postage if you pay me the full asking price of £250. Should you prefer more assurances in making the purchase then look for the EBay listing.
