Ibanez Prestige 2619 antique violin with fitted hardcase less than 12 months old

I bought this guitar less than a year ago from a small guitar store in Germany. I had wanted a Les Paul custom but every single one I tried had been badly assembled. I tried the standards and the customs from all different stores and they seem to have let the quality control slip drastically over at gibson. So I was on the market for a £2000 + Les Paul-esque guitar and stumbled upon this beauty. It is made to the highest standards, far better woods than the Gibsons and a tone to die for. It has three positions with the selector switch and each pickup can be coil split, phase reversed or just on full whack with the little switches next to the pots. In my opinion this works better than the new Gibson Les Paul Standards because you don't have to pull any knobs and you can visibly see what setting you are in, much more efficient design on the Ibanez.
I also liked the double cut design for effortless fret access. The pickups are truly a pleasure, I have never smiled so much whilst playing a guitar, it's tone sounds that good. I think they are just as warm as any Gibson but certainly have more crunch. There are so many tonal variations on this guitar that it really does have something for everyone. The 12" radius board is fantastic to allow those big bends with no dead notes and the ebony neck is smooth, much nicer than rosewood.

The guitar suffered three scratches whilst in transit from Germany, some how the toggle switch snapped off inside the case and then scratched the body as it rattled around. I decided to keep the guitar because it played so well and had heaps of character. I contacted Ibanez and replaced the the switch myself with the same one they use which can only be purchased from Ibanez.

I love this guitar so much it's going to literally reduce me to tears when it sells but for some reason an old injury I suffered on my left index finger flares up when I play this guitar and not as much when playing my strat. I have no idea why because the neck is awesome with it's rolled fret edge treatment from the top guys in the Ibanez.
