Description

I’m sadly selling my Gibson SG 2013 to help pay for university.
Near perfect condition, never been gigged, very minimal wear
I paid £600 for this new and have added nearly £300 worth of professionally installed upgrades to it. Despite being the stripped back “J” model, it plays like Gibsons 4 times the price, and I’m saying that from experience of the pricier models.

See the specs below:

Neck: satin 50s profile, mahogany, 24 frets
Body: mahogany, worn cherry finish
Pickups: SEYMOUR DUNCAN 59, SEYMOUR DUNCAN JB (£100 each)
Tuners: Grover 102C with custom black tips (£90 from GAK)

I also had a 3 ply pickguard and new nut installed! All upgrades and labour cost nearly £300

The luthier who installed the parts and gave the guitar a fresh setup misplaced the truss rod cover, so I replaced it with one from my les Paul studio.

There are currently a 1 week old set of elixir 10s installed.
I am open to reasonable offers! Also comes with a premium Gibson gig bag

I will consider swapping for a Fender mexican Stratocaster, Charvel or other electric guitars of a similar price.
