Description

This is a lovely little Squier Bullet strat which I bought because it felt so nice to play and sounded really resonant acoustically too, when I picked it up in the shop, (I wasn't planning to buy a Bullet when I found it) The neck on this guitar is just great !
The serial n0 begins s/n COS 10 which I believe indicates that it is part of a batch made in 2010 when the 'Squier' brand were really starting to surprise people with the quality of instruments they were turning out of China.
Things to note about this guitar - the body is very slightly thinner than a mexican made or US standard strat (Personally I rather like how easy that feels to hold) but if you are gonna replace the bridge & Trem block you need to account for that (GFS make a very good inexpensive steel one which fits these, though the existing one works ok enough as is) The pickups are cheap ceramics which could easily be replaced for some great sounding Toneriders or Iron gear (that i would definately do if I kept it). The tuners are something everyone always moans about on these guitars, but I've had absolutely no problem with these at all - at least the ones on this particular guitar seem pretty ok.
All in all this is a really great & fun little guitar that punches way above it's weight. I don't particularly want to sell it as it was a bit of a little gem of a find.
I personally believe that cheap mass produced guitars are a bit like cars - most are average, a fair few need to be sent back for scrap
& every now & again you get a corker !
As it is it would be a fine instrument for a student or learner, but with a few easy tweeks & upgrades it could be very quickly transformed into something that belies it's humble status & would be very gig worthy.
I'm selling it with this decent soft case included & you are welcome to drop by and try out the guitar.
Thanks for your interest.
