Beginner (or not) Guitar amp 10W - 25 ONO
- 4 days ago
Squier SP-10 practice amp from one of those starters packs. It has been with me for some time... but now it's time to part ways as I need space and someone said that I have too many amps. Can you believe that??
It's a small but solid practice amp, from one of those first fat squier strats in the 2000s. The newer versions are more trebbly and tend to blow easily, I guess they don't make them like this anymore. Conveniente to move around with it, play in your room or office. Loud enough to annoy your neighborhood.
All working well and headphones jack output to practice silently. Simple and easy to manipulate, but still really versatile if you plug effects on it. Well cared in no smokers ambient.
Maybe It's because I'm used to it or because I used it in many recordings, but I'll really miss the little crunch that you can get in the overdrive channel with the guitar volume at 2/3.
Many people like to mod this guys, adding some pots to control the gain or changing some capacitors. But I think that the size and simplicity is key on this guy. Cheers!
