This is not the standard Artist model from the Ibanez store. This unique instrument was given to me personally by Gary Willis himself, that was expertly set up by him personally and has his handwritten signature underneath the rear scratch plate so the feel and action are flawless as it is finely setup for exactly as Gary plays.

The only reason I am selling is because I have caused myself an overuse injury on my left hand requiring surgery. so simply cannot play all these beautiful instruments as much as I would like to.

The Ibanez Gary Willis GWB205-TQF Tequila Sunrise Flat is the signature bass of the Texan bass virtuoso and convinces with a top-class fretless sound and extremely smooth playability. While the bolt-on maple neck offers easy access from the lowest to the highest positions thanks to the slim "GWB" profile, the ash body features a height-adjustable finger ramp that prevents the fingers from dipping too deeply into the strings, thus skilfully supporting fast playing techniques. The fretless ebony fingerboard ensures the singing fretless tone, while fretlines guarantee clean voicing. The Ibanez GWB205's electric sound conversion is handled by a passive Bartolini GWB pickup and active Bartolini NTBT 2-band EQ, which transport the rich fretless tone to the amplifier with natural dynamics and warmth. The Ibanez GWB205-TQF Tequila Sunrise Flat furthermore features high quality hardware in the form of precise Gotoh tuners with the typical Gary Willis machine heads and a classic Ibanez standard bridge.
