Hello!

It's great that you want to take music lessons, which can be a big step so I am here to make it much easier for you.

Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned veteran, we can work on many aspects of your playing, approach and concept of playing the guitar!

I have over a decade of experience of teaching at institutions such as Blackheath Conservatoire, Hatcham College and with The Guitar Social and running my own private practice teaching children, teens and adults. As the guitar is so versatile I have played and taught rock, pop, blues, soul, jazz, folk, classical and music from all over the world.

I am happy to work on repertoire, technique, ear training, improvisation and music theory. Everything is tailored to each individual students needs and through my years of experience, I enjoy exploring musicality through any and all aspects of music!

I have also taught and entered people to take exams with ABRSM, RSL (rockschool), and Trinity/Trinity Rock and Pop.

I am also an Alexander Technique teacher, a skill which I bring to all my students and have taught at the Royal College of Music and The Junior Royal Academy of Music.

I have a music degree from the University of Leeds and a masters degree from SOAS in London. I have a grade 8 (distinction) from the Registry of Guitar Tutors and a grade 5 Music Theory (merit) from ABRSM.
