Rare Ingrid Art Deco Malachite Art Glass Putti Perfume Scent Bottle, circa late 1920's.

We are delighted to offer this fabulous genuine Art Deco period perfume scent bottle. Designed by Curt Schlevogt for Ingrid glass in the Czech Republic Bohemia. A mould blown piece in a bright swirl green known as Malachite glass. Decorated with numerous churb putti & florals. It has a flat ground polished base. Comes with it's original chrome atomizer stopper & gold silk tassel pump. This fabulous piece comes directly from a recent estate sale & is sold in superb as found antique condition. No chips, No cracks & or repairs of any kind. The inner atomizer glass tube is broken & the tassel end would need some tying up. Overall catches the light beautifully & displays very nicely indeed. Its style & design are typical of it's Art Deco period & would date nicely to the late 1920's.

Brief Curt Schlevogt History :
The American-born entrepreneur Curt Schlevogt established his own company focusing on exporting Jablonec pearls in 1928. In the following years, however, his enterprise also began intensively pursuing the production of artistic crystallery (minute applied glass objects made by molding or blowing). The collection was initially dominated by toilet and flacon sets and later also by smoking implements, glass sculptures, vases, lamps, liquor sets, devotional articles and minute glass objects. The company gained fame and favor of glass lovers mainly by fashionable glass materials jade, jade turquoise and lapis lazuli from which significant part of the collection was mould in the Josef Riedl glassworks in Polubný.
