Could you be Plant Care’s next Finance Administrator? This Bristol-based company which provides and maintains plants for office spaces, is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join the team.

It’s the ideal chance to grow as an administrator, contributing to Plant Care’s financial planning, preparing financial reports and implementing best practices in financial administration.

Plant Care was founded in 1976 to help clients enhance their workplace environment. From humble beginnings in its founder’s garden to its current Swineford office, Plant Care is renowned in the southwest for brightening the workplaces of many.

They need a Finance Administrator who possesses extensive knowledge of accounting principles and experience in a similar role. You will work alongside and report to the Finance Manager who has general oversight of all matters relating to finance and reports to the Partners.

This is a part time position, 20 hours per week with lots of flexibility: eg. work 3 full days or 4 hours per day every day etc.

As their Finance Administrator, you would be responsible for:

Raising sales invoices.

Processing reimbursements.

Inputting and processing purchase invoices.

Managing accounts receivable and payable, as well as expenses.

Processing payment runs.

Working with and supporting the part-time credit controller.

The ideal Finance Administrator will:

Have a pleasant and welcoming manner.

Display good knowledge of IT.

Have advanced proficiency in accounting software (ideally Xero).

Possess good knowledge of accounting principles.

Have a high level of organisational skills.

Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Have good time and task management skills.
