You will be part of a team responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the accounts systems and your key responsibilities will include:

Maintain an accurate and timely Purchase LedgerMatching purchase invoices against purchase orders and good receipt notesMaintaining Goods Received RecordsPosting Purchase Ledger invoices to Sage 200Dealing with supplier queries and invoice anomalies and chasing up credit notes where requiredAssisting in setting up of new customer and supplier accountsCounting and reconciliation of sales cash receiptsKeywords: Accounts Assistant | Finance | Excel | Spreadsheets | Sage | Communication | IT Literate | Sage 200 | Purchase Orders | Reconciliation | Sales Ledger | Purchase Ledger | Administration | Data Entry

Essential Skills

Previous experience in a finance environmentMinimum 2 years' experience working with a Purchase LedgerExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenGood IT Skills and experience working with Excel SpreadsheetsThe ability to work as part of a team with an enthusiastic approachKnowledge of Sage 200 and working on a computerised accounting package including sales ledger and purchase ledgerGood organisation skills and capable of prioritising a workloadReliability and good timekeeping and attendanceAbout Company
