About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Events Planner & Host to help organise and run astrology-themed singles parties across Sussex and London. This role combines event planning, on-the-day hosting, and local promotional activity. You will be responsible for sourcing suitable venues, promoting upcoming events, coordinating themed party games, and ensuring that each event runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Coordination


Research, shortlist, and secure suitable venues in London and Sussex.



Manage communication with venue staff and coordinate event logistics.



Plan and organise party games and interactive activities based on the astrology theme.



Create event schedules and ensure smooth event flow from start to finish.



Assist with ticketing setup, guest lists, and attendee communications when needed.



Event Hosting


Serve as the main host at each event, welcoming guests and setting a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.



Facilitate ice-breaker games, astrology-themed activities, and group engagement.



Handle any issues or unexpected situations calmly and professionally.



Promotion & Marketing


Distribute flyers at local stations, popular venues, and high-footfall areas in London and Brighton.



Support grassroots marketing efforts to boost event awareness and attendance.



Potentially assist with basic online promotion (social posts, listings, etc.).



Engage with the public confidently and represent the brand warmly and professionally.



Required Skills & Experience


Proven experience in events planning, events hosting, or similar roles.



Strong interpersonal skills with confidence speaking to groups and engaging attendees.



Sales or promotional experience is highly desirable.



Organised, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks at a time.



Comfortable travelling between London, Brighton, and Sussex for promotional activities and events.



Bonus / Desirable


Knowledge of astrology, star signs, or relationship dynamics.



Any relevant training or qualification related to astrology or holistic practices.



Creative flair for interactive games and themed activities.



Ideal Candidate

You are energetic, proactive, and people-focused. You enjoy hosting social events, love bringing people together, and are excited by combining entertainment with personality-based themes such as astrology. You’re just as comfortable organising logistics behind the scenes as you are handing out flyers or leading an activity on the night.

Uncapped earning potential with base price per event and bonus pay per attendee, salary to be discussed further in the interview.
