200 STAB WOUNDS
Cleveland death metal contenders 200 Stab Wounds return with Manual Manic Procedures, a ferocious sophomore album following their 2021 debut Slave to the Scalpel. Blending old school brutality with a contemporary edge, the record pushes their sound further into groove-laden, melodic heaviness without losing its raw intensity.
Praised for their "unpretentious brilliance" and chugging, destructive riffs, the band have built momentum through relentless touring and a growing global fanbase. "You tour and you grow as a band, and as people," says vocalist Steve Buhl. Written between tours and refined after signing to Metal Blade, the new material reflects that evolution.
Led by opening track "Hands of Eternity," which explores being trapped in your own mind, the album balances crushing riffs with structure and melody. Elsewhere, "Ride the Flatline" draws from real-world disaster, while "Gross Abuse" delivers pure, no-frills death metal brutality.
Demoed at Buhl's home studio and completed collaboratively, the album leans into classic gore themes while sharpening the band's musical focus. With live videos, sold-out hometown shows and international touring, 200 Stab Wounds continue their rise.
Uncompromising and unapologetic, Manual Manic Procedures is crafted for fans of extreme metal in its most visceral form.
