People Solutions are currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our well-established client based in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity offering stable working hours and a supportive team environment.

Shifts: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm

Annual Salary: GBP36,000 - GBP42,000 dependant on experience

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will assist continuous smooth running of the manufacturing plant, your duties with include (but not limited to):

Provide hands on technical support across mechanical and electrical control equipment Lead and coordinate all site maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operationsPlan and execute preventative maintenance schedulesLead daily maintenance activities, prioritising planned and reactive workDiagnose and resolve equipment faults quickly to minimise production downtimeManage contractors and ensure work is completed to the required standardsMaintain accurate maintenance records and reportsDrive reliability improvements and reduce downtime in a production environmentConduct root cause analysis investigations and provide continuous improvement initiativesDrive reliability improvements and reduce downtime in a production environmentWork collaboratively production teams to optimize performanceSupport and develop maintenance team membersEnsure all compliance with Health, Safety and environmental standardsEssential Skills

Proven experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing, chemical or process industriesProactive and hands on approachStrong problem solving and fault-finding skillsSafety focused mindsetStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to research and source equipment, parts and sparesContinuous improvement drivenConfident with using computers to keep and update maintenance recordsDesirable Experience
