Mobile Heavy Plant Technician

Location: Hemel Hempstead & Surrounding Areas

Salary: GBP21.00 GBP24.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We re seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Technician to join our busy and dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of a range of equipment and machinery across customer sites in Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas. This is a fully mobile position where you ll work independently, providing high-quality service directly to customers while representing the company with professionalism and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Work safely and professionally across various customer sites.

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment and machinery to a high standard.

Carry out servicing in line with manufacturer schedules and company procedures.

Deliver quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.

Communicate clearly with customers and management, providing updates and recommendations.

Support a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

What We re Looking For

Proven experience in maintenance, service, or repair of mechanical/electrical equipment.

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline or the drive and willingness to achieve it.

Personal tools suitable for the role.

Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.

Flexibility to meet customer needs across varying locations.

Reliable, honest and committed to delivering excellent service.
