About Us:

We are a leading facilities management company providing high-quality building services across London. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a qualified and self-motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of commercial properties in and around London.

The Role:

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and testing electrical systems to ensure our clients buildings remain safe and compliant. You will work independently across multiple sites, managing your own schedule and maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across commercial properties

Perform PPM tasks, including annual distribution board checks and scheduled inspections

Complete EICR testing and 5-year electrical certification

Conduct 3-hour annual emergency lighting tests, monthly emergency lighting checks, and monthly lighting inspections

Diagnose electrical faults, arrange and complete remedial actions promptly

Support general building maintenance activities and liaise with clients to ensure works are completed to specification

Attend call-outs during and outside normal working hours as part of the rota

Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work undertaken

Requirements:

Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)

Proven experience in building services, PPM, and reactive maintenance

Good knowledge of HVAC and building systems

Experience carrying out electrical testing, fault finding, and certification

Strong understanding of health and safety standards and compliance

Self-motivated with excellent time management and communication skills

Full, clean UK driving licence (company van provided)
