Description

A recycling business based in Nottingham are looking for a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Fitter to join the team working a four on four off days pattern. A well established team with little turnover makes this a nice business to work for.

The shift pattern is nights 4 on 4 off, working hours are 42 hours with paid breaks and 20 days holiday.

Permanent - Nottingham - Days - GBP40,000

The role of a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Fitter:

Both reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed machinery Undertake machine start up routine and non-routine planned shutdown as required. To undertake full diagnosis and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime. To communicate machine status and performance across shift. Working in partnership with the production team and ensuring optimum output. Working as part of a small team Shift hand over & liaising with production staff

Qualifications & skills required to become a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Fitter:

Minimum of a level 3 NVQ, BTEC City & Guilds equivalent Mechanical bias 3 years hands on maintenance experience within an Mechanical Engineering Be based in the UK with the relevant rights to work.
