Description

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Bristol (Hybrid – 4 Days On–Site Per Week)

Salary: Up to GBP45,000 (Depending on Experience)

(All applicants must be able to work in the UK without the need for VISA Sponsorship now or in the future)

Opportunity Overview:

The Mechanical Engineer will support the development, and testing of advanced mechanical systems used within a regulated industry. They will work as part of a collaborative engineering team to enhance existing product lines and contribute to new product development, ensuring reliability, manufacturability, and high performance under demanding operational conditions.

You will partner with a Mechanical Design Engineer, who will handle the creation of detailed models and drawings.

We are looking for Engineers with knowledge, understanding & some experience in the following areas:

– Familiarity with 3D CAD Software (Creo would be beneficially but not essential)

– Understanding of materials, coatings, and their performance characteristics

– Failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA)

– Manufacturing processes and design–for–manufacture principles

– Designing and executing validation tests for electro–mechanical systems

– Understanding of CFD (Specifying, reviewing, and interpreting results from CFD Studies)
