Description
JOB- Manufacturing Process Engineer
LOCATION- Canterbury
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- GBP45,000-GBP53,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis in the Berkshire area to work closely with manufacturing, product development and customer service as a key resource to develop internal manufacturing and service processes with the aim of improving quality, delivery, cost performance and continuous improvement.
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Degree qualified or experience working in similar role3 years experience in Manufacturing EnvironmentLean Six Sigma Green belt beneficialWorking with or implement automated processes would be beneficialSelf-motivated individualRight first time approachAbility to work calmly under pressure The Manufacturing Process Engineer role will involve:
Drive standardisation on processes along with waste elimination and continuous improvementHands on role investigating NCR'sEstablish short & long term goals with PDCA methodologyDrive zero defect mentality in the processResolve customer issues in a timely mannerChampion problem solving with use of RCA tools such as 8D, 5WHY, ISHIKAWA, FMEA'sLead internal auditsMonitor supplier performance, define process parameter to ensure process capabilityMonitor output, quality & scrap rates.
