Shift Pattern: Panama (Days & Nights, 12-hour shifts) 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights

Our client is a dynamic company comprised of approximately 3,500 (and counting) talented individuals dedicated to crafting delicious products for UK consumers, leading retailers, and our renowned, market-leading brands.

They are seeking an experienced and proactive Engineering Shift Technician to join their high-performing team in Poole. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of their production equipment and site services.

This role is vital to minimising downtime, ensuring food safety standards are upheld, and maintaining their reputation for operational excellence. If you're passionate about engineering in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

Manage contractor activities in line with site proceduresEnsure clean and audit-ready engineering workspacesCarry out reactive and planned maintenance to minimise downtimeUse and update the CMMS system with accurate asset and work dataSupport production with timely technical resolutionsFollow detailed mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematicsLead or assist on fault-finding and equipment improvementEnsure clear, concise communication at shift handoversProvide support to fellow engineers, even outside of core hoursDocument all tasks with appropriate work ordersRequirements

Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (preferably food industry)Strong skills in electrical and mechanical fault diagnosisAbility to interpret engineering drawings (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)Skilled in using CMMS systems, and maintaining asset historiesClear communicator with excellent organisational and teamwork skillsDemonstrated can-do attitude, job ownership, and proactive mindsetWillingness to work days, nights, weekends, and as the sole engineer if requiredCommitment to continuous personal and process improvementPositive and adaptable approach to change and leadershipHow To Apply
