Maintenance Engineer

£29,000 - £31,000 P/A

Warrington

Full time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week

Have you completed an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification?

Are you experienced in completing preventative maintenance and breakdowns work?

Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide in-house maintenance and breakdown support to the site, prioritising and acting on all requests.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £31,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus on call and paid overtime, 35 days holiday, including bank holidays, private medical insurance, life assurance, and more! Uniform and DBS will also be provided.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm. You will also be required to be on call every 1 in 3 weeks, including bank holidays. There is also overtime available.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Identifying and responding to all breakdown and maintenance requests,

Ensuring maintenance and testing of all equipment and services are carried out,

Liaising with external contractors where necessary,

Ensuring all remedial works inspection reports are completed,

Following safe work practices and procedures.

The ideal candidate:

Will have a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical

Must have an understanding of building services

Must have a full driving license and their own transport

Will have knowledge of electrical safety, decontamination, medical gas pipeline systems, and HVAC would be ideal.
