Hourly Rate £13-£14 per hour

A well-established manufacturing company based in Redditch, currently looking for a Rolling Mill Setter / Operator to join their busy and supportive team.
Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30
Friday: 08:00–15:00
(Some overtime opportunities available)
The Role:
As a key member of our production team, you’ll be trained to:
* Set and operate rolling mills and slitting (shearing) machines
* Load furnaces
* Work efficiently in a fast-paced factory environment
Don’t worry if you’re new to the industry – full and comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate!
Requirements:
* GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above in Maths and English (or international equivalent)
* Strong mechanical aptitude (you’ll be tested on this at interview)
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ideally ERP systems like SAP
* Willingness to work overtime at short notice
It’s a bonus if you have:
* Experience in the metal industry (especially with strip/coiled metals)
* Previous experience with rolling mills or slitting machines
* Forklift truck training
* An engineering apprenticeship
