I'm recruiting Instrument Technicians across the UK for a highly respected industrial client operating in the petrochemical and oil & gas sector in Australia. This is a rare opportunity to join a large-scale project with full relocation support and exceptional earning potential.

The Role

You will play a key role in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation across complex industrial sites.

Responsibilities include:

Calibration, loop checks & functional testingFault finding & troubleshooting on instrumentation and control systemsShutdown, start-up & commissioning supportTesting flow, level, temperature & pressure transmittersWorking with control valves and a wide range of instrumentation equipmentReading/interpreting P&IDs, data sheets, calibration documents & supplier manualsProducing accurate calibration reports and instrument documentationSupporting instrumentation projects across petrochemical/oil & gas facilitiesWhat You'll Need

Proven experience as an Instrument Technician in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, refinery, LNG, or heavy industrial environmentsStrong background in calibration, loop checking, commissioning, and fault findingExperience with shutdowns/start-ups (advantageous)Familiarity with control valves, transmitters, calibration tools and test equipmentAbility to interpret P&IDs, loop drawings and technical documentationKnowledge of HART, Foundation Fieldbus or similar systems (beneficial)A strong safety mindset and ability to work within a dynamic teamWhat's on Offer
