About the Role

They are seeking a Engineering Shift Manager to join their team on a 4 on 4 off (days only, 6am-6pm). This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of their manufacturing processes and maintaining their high standards of production within the factory.

As Shift Engineering Manager, you'll oversee a team of multi-skilled engineers and apprentices, ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.Leading the engineering team, driving performance and engagement.Delivering proactive and reactive maintenance to keep production lines running.Coordinating breakdown responses and minimising downtime.Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in plant performance.Supporting projects and new equipment installations.Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within engineering, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG.A recognised engineering qualification (electrical or mechanical).Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.A proactive, improvement-focused mindset.Electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent18th Edition qualificationA good team player with excellent communication skillsHighly motivated and eager to become a valuable member of the teamHow to Apply:
