An experienced CNC Haas Programmer/Operator located at a purpose-built facility in Blackburn, Lancashire. The position is with an established, award-winning engineering, fabrication, and machining company.

Job Title: CNC Haas Programmer/OperatorLocation: Blackburn, LancashireDepartment: MachiningHours: Day shift: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 12.30pm Friday (39 Hours).Salary: Excellent Hourly rate up to 20p/hSigning on Bonus: 2,000 Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to program, set, and operate HAAS controls within a medium to high batch machining cell. The role demands excellent tooling knowledge and the ability to develop cutting strategies suitable for high-volume production while maintaining high attention to detail and working to high tolerances (e.g., in an automotive environment). The successful candidate must interpret detailed engineering drawings to deliver conforming parts.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Must be a time-served engineer with relevant post-qualification technical machining experience.Proficiency in programming HAAS controls.Experience working with various materials, including exotic grade alloys.A detailed understanding of engineering drawings, tooling selection, work holding, and cutting strategies is essential.Strong commitment to Health & Safety (H&S) and quality standards.Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
