Description

My client, a specialist, innovative multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a CAD Designer to be based in and around the lively city of Birmingham.

Essential Criteria:

Demonstrable experience in the UK water industry, working as a CAD Technician.

Professional proficiency in various software packages, including Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and AutoCAD Civils 3D

Good working knowledge of water infrastructure-related civil detailing practices

Confident in interpreting and applying engineer mark-ups and specifications

Good comprehension of multidisciplinary model coordination and BIM workflowsIt would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of CAD Designer to have the following skills:

Ability to produce high-quality design outputs

Excellent communication skills, and the willingness to work collaboratively with other individuals and teams

Organised, adaptable, and flexible approach to handling multiple projects, adhering to challenging deadlinesIn the role of CAD Designer, you will be joining a highly successful team of design specialists, with the opportunity to grow and refine your career prospects within the UK water sector. Some of your roles and responsibilities will include:

Preparation of 2D and 3D drawings and design models within water and wastewater treatment projects

Producing general arrangements, RC details, site plans, and more, using software packages including Revit and Civils 3D

Working across the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) landscape, coordinating with other engineers and designers to design and develop models

Reviewing models, QA/QC, and drawing package assembly for construction and tender submissions

Updating and maintaining revision records and drawing registers to comply with project requirementsWorking with my client as CAD Designer, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:
