Job Title: Bid Writer

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to GBP60,000 (Depending on experience)

Overview:

In this position, you ll manage the end–to–end bid process from analysing tender documents to coordinating inputs from technical experts, and crafting clear, persuasive content that wins work.

You'll work closely with both the Client Development and Technical teams to translate detailed, technical information into engaging narratives that reflect the quality, innovation, and expertise the business delivers.

Key Responsibilities Lead the coordination and preparation of high–quality bid submissions Analyse RFPs and tender documentation to identify key themes and win strategies Translate technical concepts into accessible, persuasive content Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business Ensure deadlines are met and submissions align with brand, tone, and messaging Maintain and update a library of reusable content, templates, and case studies Proofread and quality check documents for consistency and compliance Contribute ideas for improving bid processes and materials What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Bid Writer, ideally in engineering, technical consultancy, or related sectors Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to communicate complex topics clearly and persuasively Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions–focused mindset Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with cross–functional teams What s on Offer Up to GBP60,000 salary, depending on experience Hybrid working model typically 2–3 days onsite in a central Bristol office The chance to make a real impact in a growing, forward–thinking business A collaborative and supportive team environment with career development opportunities
