Salary: GBP30,000 GBP45,000 (depending on experience)

Working Pattern: Office-based with hybrid working available

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and innovative Audio-Visual installation and service provider based in Huntingdon. They are seeking an experienced AV Designer to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, skilled designer who can hit the ground running and contribute to a wide range of residential, commercial, and marine AV projects. You ll play a pivotal role in creating detailed, accurate designs that support installation teams and ensure exceptional project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Producing comprehensive AV system designs, schematics, and layout drawingsCreating documentation to support install teams and project managersWorking closely with engineers to refine system solutionsUsing CAD and other design tools to develop accurate project drawingsSupporting system development, specification, and technical decision-makingCollaborating with the wider team to ensure smooth project delivery What We re Looking For

Proven experience in AV system design (essential)Proficiency with CAD software; experience with 3D design tools is highly beneficialStrong technical understanding of AV systems, signal flow, and industry standardsSomeone confident, proactive, and capable of working independentlyExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projectsA team player who can communicate effectively with engineers, PMs, and clientsSomeone ready to step in and contribute from day one Benefits & Perks
