Looking for a Drummer with the Madchester Groove
I’m putting together a tribute project in honour of the late, great Mani (Gary "Mani" Mounfield) — focusing The Stone Roses, Primal Scream, and Ian Brown.
I’m Adam (44), bassist + backing vocals, based in Leith.
The plan is simple: fortnightly jams at Sound Base, keep it relaxed, keep it fun, but make it tight.
Everyone knows:
Bass + Drums = the backbone.
And nobody locked in like Mani & Reni.
I’m looking for a drummer with that Madchester swing — someone who can groove, shuffle, and make it bounce without overplaying. If that’s you, or you’ve got the chops and the love for the music…
