Trainee Valeter required with no previous experience (must have a love for cars!) in the Ledbury area. Full training period provided! Cover / Ad Hoc position available!

Pay rate: £13.44 per hour.

THE PERKS OF THE JOB:

On-the-job training to become a car Valeter, to learn all processes and procedures and which chemicals are used safely.

THE ROLE OF A TRAINEE VALETER

This role is offered on an on-going long-term contract basis, with varying working hours from 1 day a week to full time positions (40 hours a week) available as per business needs. This would be on a 0hr basis as we are looking for someone who can cover our site on an Ad Hoc basis to cover holiday absences or join the team when extra support is required.

The successful Trainee Valeter will ensure the immaculate valeting finish of whole vehicles to include (but not limited to), interiors, exteriors, engine components, all components under the bonnet, lower door shuts and inner front wings. We are looking for a Valeter with a strong attention to detail, a precision focus and perfection driven attitude.

THE REQUIREMENTS OF A TRAINEE VALETER

UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)

No prior experience required; however, a strong interest in vehicle cleaning and maintenance is preferred.

Ideally over the age of 28 for insurance purposes

Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and techniques in the field of car valeting.
