Are you detail-oriented, have a passion for the automotive sector and enjoying fixing things? We've got the perfect role for you! Our Client is seeking an automotive Mechanical Technician to join their established team.
The Role
The key duties of the automotive Mechanical Technician will include:
* Carry out inspections, routine servicing, repairs and PDIs on a wide range of vehicles.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
* Replace and refit parts as necessary to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
* Keep detailed records of all services and repairs.
* Work closely with other team members to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
The Candidate
The successful Mechanical Technician will be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
* Previous similar experience as an automotive Mechanical Technician.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to remain calm in pressurised situations.
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification (advantageous not essential).
