IT Change ManagerPermanentAlbert Dock Liverpool Competitive Salary Package + Car Allowance, Excellent Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance + Enhanced Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Change Manager to work within our Service and Operations department. As the IT Change Manager you will own, operate and maintain the IT Change Management process to ensure all IT changes are raised, validated, approved and implemented in line with a basic principle of maintaining service availability and reducing down time as a result of change activities. This will be achieved by administering a Change management database, chairing a regular change advisory board and reporting on the forward schedule of changes. Main Activities and Responsibilities: •A clear understanding of the full portfolio of IT Suppliers use to deliver Yodels services•An in-depth knowledge of current IT technologies and infrastructure•Ownership and management of the end to end change management process by applying a risk based approach•Continual development of the change management process in line with best practice to ensure that it is fit for purpose•Alignment with the Business Change and release teams to ensure that key projects and major releases are introduced into the live environment with the appropriate level of change control and risk mitigation•To work with the IT Service Delivery Managers to support the wider Service and Operations strategy•Act as a point of escalation for any service matters relating to Change Management•Identify and incorporate any key business stakeholders into the established Change Management process•Creation and publication of Change Management metrics and reporting information•To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Head of Service Delivery. Essential Experience Required For the Role: • 5 years experience in IT Change Management•ITIL Service Manager qualified or equivalent •Experience of managing and negotiating with large suppliers•Experience of creating and developing appropriate training material (both written and PowerPoint) to assist with the implementing of IT Change Management to a range of audiences•In depth knowledge of IT technologies and infrastructures•Demonstrable understanding of Continual Service Improvement•Experience of building and maintaining good working relationships with members of other IT support and development teams•In-depth working knowledge of Workflow applications such as Remedy or Service Now at an ‘Admin Account’ level with an understanding of the Workflows and experience of manipulating data and customising Management Reports, creating Audit trails and Compliance evidence•Excellent Communication Skills If you are ambitious, open-minded, thrive on challenges and enjoy working together as part of a team, we want you to be part of the Yodel story.
