Days/Hours: 9:30am – 8:00pm or 6:30am – 5:00pm

A warm and welcoming family based in West London are seeking an experienced temporary housekeeper to support their busy household during an exciting period as they welcome newborn twins. The family have four children aged 22 months, almost 5, 7 and 8 years old, with twins due to arrive in late August or early September. A 24-hour maternity nurse and an additional family support assistant will already be in place, allowing this role to focus primarily on high-quality housekeeping while offering flexible assistance to the family whenever needed.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and able to work efficiently in a busy household. They should be adaptable, happy to assist wherever required and confident managing household tasks independently. Previous experience working in a similar private household and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and family living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
making beds and changing bed linen
keeping the home tidy, organised and clutter free
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
assisting with household organisation and storage
helping to keep the garden and outdoor areas tidy when required
monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials when needed
running household errands if required
providing occasional childcare support and stepping in when extra help is needed
working alongside the maternity nurse and family support assistant as part of a team
supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household during the newborn period
ensuring the home remains clean, welcoming and well organised at all times
