A lovely family based near Norwich are seeking an experienced live in housekeeper to maintain their beautiful 6-bedroom home to an exceptional standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and trustworthy candidate who enjoys working independently and takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming and well-managed household.

The successful candidate must be a confident driver and be comfortable working in a home with three friendly medium-sized dogs. Excellent accommodation is provided in the form of a separate two-bedroom cottage with its own private garden, offering plenty of privacy. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the property
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and reception rooms
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all household surfaces
laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
making beds and changing bed linen
organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
monitoring household supplies and restocking essentials when required
running household errands and grocery shopping
receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors when necessary
helping with the day-to-day organisation of the household
providing care for the family’s three friendly dogs, including feeding and letting them into the garden when required
reporting maintenance issues and ensuring the property remains well presented
driving for household errands when needed
ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
