Full-Time Housekeeper / Cook – Brighton (Non-Live-In)
Recently relocated family seeks a reliable and caring all-rounder to help run a busy household.
We are a friendly family who have recently moved to Brighton and are looking for a full-time housekeeper-cook to support our day-to-day home life. The role is varied and hands-on, ideal for someone organised, trustworthy, and who takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
Daily housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing, tidying, and household organisation
Cooking healthy, home-style meals (experience with Indian cooking is a big advantage)
Grocery shopping, managing household supplies, and simple errands
Walking and caring for four small, friendly family dogs
Occasional help with meal prep or service when guests visit
Coordinating with tradespeople/deliveries as needed
About You
Experienced in private homes or similar roles (minimum 2 years preferred)
Confident cook who enjoys preparing daily family meals
Reliable, proactive, and discreet
Animal lover, comfortable walking and feeding dogs
UK driving licence preferred (not essential)
Good English communication skills
Must have checkable references and right to work in the UK
Hours & Pay
Full-time (Monday–Friday, approx. 8 hours per day)
Optional overtime/weekend hours available by arrangement
Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience and skills)
Non-live-in position – Brighton-based family home
