Shih Tzu X Chihuahua

Description

Looking too rehome 10 month old Hamish. He is a cross breed of shih tzu and chihuahua although chihuahua is definitely the dominant breed. He is microchipped, house trained, up to date with flea and worming and vaccinations too date. Hamish comes from a house with 4 kids ranging from ages 2 - 9 and a cat. Great with both, responds too sit, paw, lie down and "up" for treats. Rehoming due too absolutely no fault of his own, feel I'm not meeting his basic care needs due to the busy household with kids etc. Unfortunately bit off more than I can chew. Good on lead when out walking and with other dogs he meets. Will come back when called off lead if in a quiet area and enjoys a good game of fetch but definitely room for improvement if given the time. Hes a lovely, playful happy little guy. Can be quite excitable but if given the right amount of exercise will definitely be calmer, Unfortunately with me having a young child getting him out for walks multiple times a day is unfortunately really difficult. He does go into a crate when I'm out but whether the next owner wishes to do so is upto them. Isn't fond of it for night sleeping if closed but will with an open door. He does bark when I leave the property but settles after 15 minutes and awaits return quietly. I'm sad too be letting him go but do feel it's in his best interest too have more 1 on 1
