8 month old standard cockapoo

8 month old cockapoo. Reposting as my husband took the last advert off as we had a viewing but wasn’t the right fit for Travis.

Meet Travis – our gorgeous 8 month old Cockapoo looking for his forever home.

Travis is a happy, affectionate boy with a lovely temperament. He’s been raised in a family home with young children and is incredibly gentle, playful, and well-socialised. Super soft coat, we have been getting him groomed from a young age. Lovely light eye colour.

✔️ Not a nuisance barker

Mum is a Cocker Spaniel (seen) and reported dad was a Miniature Poodle (not seen). He weighs 13kg and won’t get much bigger now. He is a standard Cockapoo (not miniature so please bear this in mind), he’s a good size. He will jump out the car when you’re going for a walk so he isn’t really suitable for anyone with any frailties or balance and mobility issues.

He absolutely loves his walks and running with other dogs (especially the beach!) and enjoys being out and about just as much as being at home with the family. He will still pull on the lead at times but we haven’t had any formal training with him. He is a puppy still so is full of energy, he chews on shoes and things left out so he needs someone to be with him more often, he has lots of toys here which you can take. Cockapoos are also excitable by nature. He wants you to play in the evenings and settles around 9. Goes down to sleep at 9.45/10. He does a little excited wee tinkle when he sees people but hopefully will grow out of this.

Travis has previously been crate trained, so this could easily be reintroduced if preferred. He is also comfortable being left for up to 5 hours and settles well.

This is a very difficult decision for us, as Travis is a much-loved pet, the children are gutted. However, we feel he would thrive in a home where he has more regular company and attention.

We are looking for a kind, loving home where he will continue to be well cared for.
