Suunto D4 dive watch £250 new

Ealing Broadway, London £130.00

Quality Suunto engineering and design, I'm very sorry to see this reliable, attractive and easy to use computer from my life. I researched dive computers heavily before I invested in this watch and it has served me very well, unfortunately life has caught up with me and I'm no longer using it regularly enough to justify having it hence why I had a new battery and Suunto strap (long enough for dry suit users if required) installed to make it suitable for a second diver to own!

SimplyScuba have a promotional video on youtube which goes through the features hands on

From the Sport Diver Review
The D4 is the ‘baby’ of the full range of Suunto wristwatch computers, and replaced the Mosquito. It is much more aesthetically pleasing than the Mosquito, and with the dot-matrix display and metal rim around the face, it sits well alongside its more-expensive siblings, the D6 and D9.
The D4 is a full-function decompression computer, which is capable of using a single nitrox mix up to 50 per cent. It also has a completely separate freediving logbook, and with three-times-a-second sampling for the deepest sections of a freedive, it is equally suited to serious freedivers and general scuba enthusiasts.

On the 45-minute, 20m-maximum air dive, the D4 sat pretty much in the middle of the no-decompression limit timescale, registering 23 minutes remaining at 18m after 30 minutes underwater. Suuntos are known to be more conservative than some other manufacturers, but the entire range still came in less-conservative than the Seemann Sub XP-1.

John said: “I like the large digits on the display, they were easy to read even in low-light conditions and when the vis was lousy.” Dave said: “A worthy successor to the Mosquito, but the recent price hike – thanks to the strong Euro – has made it a relatively expensive route into the Suunto world.” Mark commented: “The buttons on the D4 are quite small, but none of the testers had a problem scrolling through the menus, even when wearing 3-5mm neoprene gloves.”

The watch is fully functioning used condition and with the new strap and battery is ready to go. It has a few marks of wear - mainly superficial scratches to the stainless steel which I've tried to photograph as best I can.

I'm afraid I'm not good at keeping manuals but there is an online version at the Suunto website
