Description
Founded in 1957 by Chaim Schreiber, Schreiber Furniture quickly became a mid-century success. By the 1970s it was a household name, rivalling G
Plan and operating 280 dedicated stores across the UK.
This is a large Schreiber extendable dining table featuring a rectangular top with curved corners. The table is finished with wood-effect Formica.
The extending mechanism is straightforward: the two halves of the top pull apart to reveal the concealed central leaf, which folds out and slots neatly into place. The table is supported on four slender, light toned, solid Beech .legs
