Description

We are a leading group of social enterprises delivering direct health and care services to over 100 000 people each year, and supporting our wider communities.

Trafalgar our dental business offers predominately NHS dental services to 80000 patients a year, from 6 practices stretching across the South Coast from Portsmouth to Swanage. We are a relatively new non-profit making body corporate seeking to provide the best quality service we can and taking a holistic inclusive approach to supporting the oral health of our communities. We were set up primarily to ensure that those in living in areas of disadvantage had the opportunity to access quality dental provision.

Director of Operations

c £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (dependent upon qualification and experience) plus £4,000 car allowance and 5% contributory pension scheme.

This is full time position for a rapidly growing group of dental clinics. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced individual who currently holds a GDC registration and has vast business and strategic management skills. The post holder will have extensive knowledge of CQC, GDC regulations and have a strong contractual understanding, having previously held a similar post in a multi practice group.

The post holder will hold a relevant clinical, health or management qualification at Level 5 or above, have held a senior strategic management role for a minimum of 3 years and have a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant regulations, guidance and standards.

Duties of the role include:

You will oversee the Clinical Lead role who will be responsible for providing clinical operational direction and strong professional leadership to all dental nursing and dental clinical staff across the Group.

To lead and drive the delivery of excellent operational standards of care, driving a culture of safety, clinical effectiveness and continuous improvement for the patient experience and act as the Registered Manager for the business.

The role is responsible for business growth, strategic development, motivation and performance of all staff, ensuring the achievement of CQC standards as required for clinical services.
