DPD Multi-Drop Collection and Delivery Driver

Delivery Drivers are responsible for ensuring products reach their destination on time and in good condition. Tasks include packing, loading, and unloading your van, delivering parcels to customers along designated routes, maintaining communication with management, reviewing deliveries with recipients for accuracy, obtaining delivery confirmations, and keeping your van clean. Report any warning lights or vehicle defects.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining a neat appearance, paying attention to detail, being patient, working under pressure and meeting deadlines with good time management, and handling customer goods carefully. You should be trustworthy, polite, able to lift up to 25kg, and take pride in your vehicle’s appearance.

Requirements:

- Valid DBS (basic disclosure)

- Valid UK Driving Licence

- Right to work in the UK

Compensation and Schedule:

- Paid promptly every 5th week (covering 4 weeks of work)

- £1 per successful stop, averaging 125 stops per day; £0.80 for lite vans

- Overtime is available but not guaranteed

- Work 5 days a week: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday

Vehicle:

- A 3.5-tonne XLWB van will be provided, along with insurance

- Fuel is supplied for routes

- Mileage cap applies

Lite Van:

- Provided with insurance

- Fuel included

- Typically 130-150 stops per day.
