Massage is a hands-on, holistic form of health care. It is well known as a soothing, relaxing way of relieving stress and tension and can also be an important part of a preventative wellbeing maintenance program. Massage therapy treats specific physical and medical conditions, relieving muscle tension, restoring muscle and postural balance, increasing circulation and improving tissue nutrition by using hands-on techniques on the muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage has effects on the heart and circulation, the nervous system, the digestion and elimination system and most other systems of the body.
Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. While eliminating anxiety and pressure altogether in this fast-paced world may be idealistic, massage helps manage stress and reduce fatigue.
Clients often report a sense of perspective and clarity after receiving a massage. The emotional balance bodywork provides can often be just as vital and valuable as the more tangible physical benefits.
When you are ready to take responsibility for your health, the results are simply life-changing, and always for the better. Just one massage session will lower stress chemicals like cortisol significantly and also increase immune system cells like lymphocytes and will also increases oxytocin hormone. So open the door to better health or whenever you feel under the weather, pay a visit to my salon for a regular massage.

Frequently asked questions:
* How often should I have massage?
Everyone is different and the frequency of your massage sessions should be determined by your goal. Keep in mind that accumulative effective of massage will always be greater than the benefit of any one treatment session.
* Will a single session help me feel better?
For relaxation and to work out the day-to-day aches and pains, massage can have an immediate impact, but for more serious issues or complaints, regular sessions would be more advisable.
* How will I feel afterward?
That will depend on what issues you are looking to address. Some people experience increased energy and heightened awareness, some feel more relaxed and some experience freedom from long-term aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity.
* Do I have to take off my underwear during the massage?
It's a matter of personal preference and what makes you feel most comfortable. Many people prefer to keep their underwear on during a massage, while others prefer to be completely nude. Underwear can sometimes limit muscle accessibility (particularly if your problem areas are located in your lower back, hips, buttocks, or groin). So, thongs for women or briefs for men are often a good compromise. However, you will never be asked to do something you're not comfortable doing and I always work with my clients to accommodate their needs.
*Are there any medical conditions that make massage or bodywork inadvisable?
Yes, and it is important that you inform us of any health problems or medications you are taking before beginning your session. If you are currently being treated by a doctor, we strongly advise that you receive a written recommendation for massage or bodywork before beginning your session.
• What is deep tissue massage?
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage which uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness and sore shoulders.
Deep tissue massage is used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle knots or adhesions that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, inflammation and limit range of motion. For those people who suffer from chronic stress and its various side-effects like tension headaches, rigid shoulders and tight muscles, deep tissue massage can be a relief. Once renewed and revitalized you will be able to face your challenges more equitably.
Recent surveys suggest 34,000 people ranked deep tissue massage more effective in relieving osteoarthritis pain than physical therapy, prescription medication, or chiropractic intervention.
Drinking water after the massage will help to flush the metabolic waste from the tissues.
When I help other people to feel good or relieve their pain, I am happy, engaged with life, present and fulfilled. Having been given the responsibility of touching other people’s lives and their bodies, I regularly increase my knowledge in order to keep growing and learning. This is one of the core factors to my happiness.
Thank you all ! ❤️
