Customer Service Executive – Bilingual Spanish/English

Following on from our rapidly growing internet-based company in the UK (1.8 million users), is in need of a new Customer Service Executive. With the patience and communication skills to deliver exceptional customer care, this role is ideal for English/Spanish-speaking individuals, looking to get involved in a dynamic, young web startup.

AnyVan is an online platform that facilitates the movement of items across the UK and Europe at a discounted rate. With over 1,800,000 users and 60,000 transport providers, we are changing the European transportation landscape by bringing convenience and cost savings into a fragmented market. AnyVan currently serves all markets with specific focus on the removals, furniture, international and vehicle delivery markets.

The Role:

A confident communicator, with the ability to multi-task, you will primarily provide support for our Spanish customers. English is spoken throughout the office and meetings however, and wider support may be given to customers from other territories across Europe, so proficiency with English and Spanish is a must.


• Deal directly with customers either by telephone or electronically
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries
• Handle and resolve customer complaints
• Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service enquiries
• Represent AnyVan in a positive and professional way
• Provide pricing and delivery information
• Verify customer details
• Create new customer accounts
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
• Record details of enquiries, comments and complaints
• Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service processes
• Good communication flow with line manager and other departments

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications
• Ability to type
• Knowledge of administrative procedures
• Numeric, oral and written language applications
• Customer service experience, 2 years minimum
