Description

My name is Emmanuel Akinwotu and I am a British freelance journalist based in London, writing mainly for The Guardian on Nigeria, inequality and other themes. I have written and broadcasted for the New Statesman, CityMetric, Reuters, The Africa Report, Al Jazeera and others. I have also copywritten for a number of small-medium sized businesses including Zipjet, producing business and marketing content as well as blogs and social media posts.

Currently, I am looking to take on new copywriting, editing and transcription roles.

I have been writing in newspapers, magazines and for businesses for the last 3 years. I am a diverse and proficient writer, able to produce copy for news, features, adverts or creative tasks, as well as write or edit for a wide range of mediums and audiences. Furthermore, I am extremely organised and diligent with the work I take on.
