Location: Home Based, Anywhere in the UK (with occasional national travel)

We are delighted to be partnering with a market leading residential property operator to support the search for an M&E Technical Compliance Lead. This is a home–based role with occasional travel, to support operational needs across a National estate.

This position plays a key role in driving high standards of mechanical and electrical compliance across existing developments, ensuring they remain aligned with current and emerging legislation. It offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E professional who enjoys shaping compliance frameworks, supporting operational teams and influencing best practice across building services and property management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and management of the organisation s technical compliance programme Act as the subject matter expert for M&E compliance across the estate Provide clear technical guidance to Operations and Property teams Monitor changes in compliance legislation and ensure processes remain up to date Conduct audits, review procedures and highlight areas of risk Create and oversee action plans following audits or legislative changes Support wider building services initiatives and continuous improvement activity

Experience Required

Excellent knowledge and experience of M&E or Building Services Good understanding of compliance within a building or property environment Ability to interpret technical information and communicate it clearly Confident working with multiple stakeholders across operations and property teams Organised, proactive and able to identify risks and improvements Experience from housing, residential property, FM or building services environments is beneficial
