Are you an experienced Housing Officer looking for your next opportunity?

Think Recruitment are working with a leading provider of affordable housing in Birmingham to recruit a proactive and dedicated Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for:

Managing a varied caseload of general needs housing propertiesConducting estate inspections, tenancy audits, and addressing breachesProviding guidance and support to residents, ensuring positive tenancy sustainmentResponding to reports of ASB and working with relevant agencies to resolve issuesHandling low–level arrears and signposting tenants for financial or wellbeing supportMaintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service at all times

You will need:

Previous experience in tenancy management or a similar housing roleStrong knowledge of housing legislation and best practiceExcellent communication and problem–solving skillsThe ability to work autonomously as well as part of a supportive teamA customer–focused approach and commitment to positive outcomes for residentsIf you're ready to make an immediate impact and support communities across Birmingham, we'd love to hear from you.
