Description
I am looking for volunteer practice clients to help me develop my skills during my Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner Training. This is hands on therapy using very light touch when the client is lying comfortably. Please note that I am a student of this therapy so I do not yet hold all the necessary skills to enable me to treat specific illness or injuries.
It may well be that the practice sessions bring you beneficial effect for example deep relaxation, improved sleep, mental clarity, emotional release and wellbeing. These practice sessions can be a great practice of connection to the body encouraging internal and external communication. There might be some feelings and emotions brought to the surface and where required these can be safely released.
Practice sessions are generally between 30 – 60 minutes. This time allows for feedback, any questions and discussion. The actual hands-on time is likely to be 20 – 30 minutes depending on the work needed to be practiced. Occasionally, we might also practice simple exercises that support a therapeutic process and to assist you in getting the most out of these sessions.
