Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £22,000 - £26,382 Per Annum, DOE.

Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

About The Company:

They are small and expanding electronics company established in the pro-audio field. The company require a junior/trainee repair technician capable of repairing audio amplifiers, mixers, loudspeakers and other audio equipment to board level and eventually component level. Suitable candidates should be able to achieve the following: -

Read circuit schematics to at least a basic level Solder and de-solder components from a circuit board Understand how to use basic measuring equipment such as an oscilloscope and multimeter Recognize electronic components Computer literate, further training will be given. Some of the items they repair work at high voltage. An understanding of how to work with high voltage is a must. You will be trained on this aspect.

The company expect the chosen candidate to work within their health and safety policies. In addition, a chosen candidate will be expected to manage themselves to a certain extent.

Experience working within a small team would be advantageous. An interest in music and or audio is also advantageous.

Starting salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications

Candidate Requirements:

Diagnose and repair electronic devices using hand tools and schematics. Conduct routine maintenance on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Stay updated on the latest technology trends and repair techniques. Utilize computer networking skills to assist in the setup and configuration of devices.
