--------------------------
Care for your cut Christmas tree
--------------------------

*Stand the tree in a bucket of water outside to prevent dehydration until you are ready to bring inside

*When ready, cut (1”) from the base of the tree before putting it in the stand, unless we have already done that for you.
(Breaking the natural seal on the base of the trunk so the tree will be able to take up as much water as it requires)

*Make sure you stand your cut tree in a proper Christmas tree stand that can hold plenty of water

*DO NOT allow the tree to dry out

*Top up the water in your Christmas stand every single day

*Avoid standing your tree near to heat sources such as radiators & fires

--------------------------
Care for your POTTED Christmas tree
--------------------------

*After Christmas either plant the tree out in your garden or re-pot it into a larger pot in John Innes no.3 compost, add mulch for drainage.
Water when it needs like any tree or shrub & feed it during the growing season (Spring/Summer) (April-September)
*Best to repot in early Spring, but can be done any time of the year.
*Repot into a pot that is at least 10cm (4ins) larger in diameter.
